“RECLUSE” is a single I released in 2025, a meditation on solitude, intimacy, and the growing pains of leaving situations that no longer serve me. The art direction features my signature saturated imagery, shaped by retro influences such as vinyl record design and neon lights. The production was a run-and-gun shoot with @marvindeabreu and @xcelsiour in NYC’s Chinatown neighborhood. The single release also aligned with a campaign I did with Axel Arigato, with their beige trench coat being a key styling motif in the visuals. We collaborated to produce a release party for the single in their NYC store, which was a success and exceptionally warm reception, considering the themes of disillusionment and isolation expressed in the song. It was a great way to connect a release to an actual moment felt by others, and expanded through brand partnership to reach a wider audience.
